A few weeks ago I walked through Sears in the mall to get to a different store, and I stopped to check out this gold glass decanter.

I have been on a total gold kick lately — I bought two gold pineapple trays, a gold pineapple candle, a gold side table, and that fabulous bench with the gold legs — so I picked up the decanter and was surprise that it was on sale for only $4.97.

So of course for that price it had to come home with me.
I could use it as a vase, or I could serve wine out of it when I have company. Fancy!

I found the exact gold glass decanter on Amazon — its called Fitz and Floyd Daphne 5 Piece Whiskey Set.
I’m guessing the decanter was on sale because it was missing the glasses.
I don’t drink whiskey, but this set is so pretty that I now want to buy the whole set for myself — it’s incredibly affordable!
And those glasses would make fancy water glasses as well.
This whole set makes such a nice gift! Dad would like it, Grandpa, your girlfriend, your aunt — who wouldn’t like this set?
