Most Beautiful Christmas Cottage Decor Ideas

I started decorating for the holidays, but before I show you my Christmas Home Tour, here are some beautiful Christmas cottage decor ideas I have been inspired by.

This Christmas, I want to go for a simpler style — I can usually not help myself to use every last ornament we have on our Christmas tree.

When my son was little, I didn’t have the heart to stop him from hanging every last ornament on the tree, because he loved trimming the tree so much. So we usually end up with a very colorful tree.

My goal for this year is to decorated more sparingly first, take the pictures for the Home Tour, and then let him go to town. We’ll see how that works out.

But to be fair, the rest of the Blue Cottage usually also overflows with Christmas decor, and that is all my doing.

If you know me at all, you know how much I love HomeGoods.

As a home decor blogger, how can I not love all they have to offer?

They have so many beautiful home decor items that I usually find what I’m looking for for styling projects or for our Blue Cottage, and the prices are always amazing.

We have a HomeGoods store only ten minutes away from us, with a thrift store next to it and in the same shopping center where I buy groceries, so I stop in quite often.

Even HomeGoods noticed how often I Instagram and tweet about my latest #HomeGoodshappy find.

We chatted on Twitter, and I mentioned that I’d love to write a blog post for them.

Fall Home Tour of Our Blue Cottage
