Decorating for Spring and Easter With Chasing Fireflies

by Dagmar Bleasdale on March 25, 2014

Ready for spring? I couldn’t wait any longer and decorated our mantel for spring and Easter.

And then I set the table with my vintage, flowery china and the cutest Easter goodies Chasing Fireflies sent me!

Turns out, Chasing Fireflies doesn’t just sell adorable holiday outfits like bunny pajamas, they also specialize in Easter decorations.

They sent over two adorable Spring Cottages, a White Scalloped 3-Tier Server, and Decoupage Eggs that are similar to the ones I received from my parents as a kid in Germany. These are also handcrafted in Germany and can be filled with all kinds of goodies.

I’ll eventually use these eggs for a fun Easter egg hunt for Landon, but for now I added some of them to an egg-shaped bowl as part of the table decor.

The cute cupcake stand will get a lot of use in our home for all kinds of occasions, not just Easter. L was excited to see that I had bought his favorite black-and-white cookies for this occasion.

I’ve see these kinds of glittery houses for Christmas but never before for Easter — what a cute idea.

And here is our mantel for now, with some of the eggs and the second spring cottage. I’d like to add a cute bunting with cheerful spring colors soon.

It was about time to break out some pastel colors after this long, dreary winter! Have you decorated for spring or Easter yet?

I love that little glittery Easter cottage! I would want to leave it out all year, too.
