If you have been visiting my blog for a long time, you know that I like to show you my latest thrifty or vintage finds.
I want to show you another awesome find from the tag sale up the street, the one where I bought all that pretty silverware.
I also bought five sets of vintage Alfred Meakin Fair Winds cups and saucers – for 50 cents each!

The scene on it is from the New York harbor in 1830, and about a sailor’s farewell. There is actually a lot to see on those cups – the art is pretty intricate.
I plan to make candles out of them or fill them with chocolate for Landon’s teachers as a gift before the Christmas break.
Do you like transferware?
