She Shed Kits That Will Make You Swoon
After a tornado hit our area and we ended up with a huge tree on our house, this is now the second time in just a few months that our yard is filled with nothing but tree limbs.
This is the before view – the tree has since been cut off our house, and all those tree limbs are also now dumped on the side of our house.

I’m dreaming of a beautiful backyard! Gosh, can we enjoy our yard already, please?
We’ve been in our Blue Cottage for four years now, and our yard still needs a lot of help.
I usually work on making it a bit nicer every year. I wish I could just hire a landscaper to do everything on my wish list and be done, but that’s not in the budget.
In the spring, I usually add more hydrangeas to our front flower beds. I had actually just planted more flowers, and some of that was undone by the storm as well.
Over the years, we added this shed.
I wouldn’t call this a she shed, although it was a kit and Don and I put it together, not only because it has mostly Don’s tool in it and I can’t use it for crafting or hang out in but it’s missing windows and isn’t big enough to make it be an extra room one can enjoy.
I built a little DIY deck in the backyard with four pallets, and just two weeks ago, I excitedly ordered a set of inexpensive backyard furniture.
Here is a similar set, a 4 Piece Wicker Patio Furniture Set. Can you believe how affordable it is for around $300, WITH cushions?!
In my dreams, we have a beautiful lawn, fruit trees, and a cottage garden fence around the whole property, like the ones I admired around every charming garden in Colonial Williamsburg.
My dream garden would be a cottage garden with all of these elements I wrote about in that post.
And my dream yard would have a SHE SHED!
She sheds are all the rage right now — why should men have all the fun and have a shed to put all their extra stuff or a place to escape to?
She sheds are such an inexpensive way to add a room to your property — instead of truly adding a room to your house, which would cost $20,000 to $50,000, you can simply make a she shed your little paradise.
And it’s nice to have this special space sit in the yard, away from the possible noise in the house.
I’d love of a pretty little she shed that I can decorate and escape to when I want an hour to myself.
Wouldn’t it be lovely if it was big enough to move your DIY supplies in there, or to have a girlfriend over for coffee and scones?
I was curious and looked for she sheds on the Internet. I was amazed what kind of beautiful she shed kits you can order on Amazon!
Here are my favorite she shed kits:
I picked the sheds that I thought are the nicest, and all of them have one or a couple of windows.
I don’t know about you, but my shed shed would have to have a window and a wide door for easy access :)
You can call it a playhouse, but it’s certainly big enough for me at 8′ x 12′!
I like the big door of this shed, and how big the window is.
Even better – how cool would it be to have two doors and two window. And that weather vane is too cute!
Here is a similar she shed kit like the one before — there are so many different designs to choose from.
Shutters? Yes, please!
I bet you a chandelier would look adorable in this tall shed.
Which one of these she shed kits is your favorite? I would be happy with either one of them, ha!
