Creative Kids Room Decor Ideas
First of all, I think every children’s room needs an adorable Lost Socks sign! Especially when the kids are small.
There are many DIY posts on the internet about making one of these yourself. Or you can buy one on Amazon.
Here are several lost socks signs:

Every children’s room should have a shelf full of books, at least that’s what I think. Reading to kids and having kids look at books is so important for their development.
This is a wonderful book rack that displays children’s books nicely and makes them easy to access for even toddlers. Secure it to the wall so your child can’t pull it away from the wall.
I love the idea of kids having a tent they can hide in:
This is a dream of a bunk bed, isn’t it? A twin bed over a full bed, which gives you plenty of options. And dad or mom could sleep comfortably in the full bed if needed, ha!
Loft beds that have a desk under them frees up a lot of space in a room. This is ideal for a small room or if you want to give your child more space to play.
I’m a huge fan of temporary sticker wallpaper and decals as you can see in this post about the best floral wallpaper.
Here are a few decals that are super inexpensive yet make such a statement in any kids room:
Isn’t this quote decal the best? You can add this anywhere in the room, over the bed or over a desk.
I hope these ideas helped you to decorate your child’s room to make it as unique as your child is.

Sweet! Love finding cool decorating ideas. I’ve been having my girls flip through magazines so when we build our home I can have ideas on what they like.

Wow these are some great ideas! I love that couch that turns into a bunk bed. If only the socks could magically appear in the lost sock sign I would buy it right now.

The bunk room is a dream of mine – I only have two kids (um, and we’re currently renting… LOL) but I once saw a pic in a European magazine with bunks on one side of a hallway of sorts for sleeping nooks and then a very large sectioned out play room for various imaginative and open space play. LOVE the idea! Perhaps if our next house has the right architecture to do something like that — it’d be right up my kids’ alley! (they share bunk beds now to have more room in their bedroom!
I also LOVE the gingerbreading for the girl’s dormer nook… LOVE that idea!

I’m a little bit in love with the girly scalloped one. Afraid of paint + white slipcovers in the first one. And over the top jealous of the double built in bunkbed one.
nice post!

In that first picture all I see is that paint, and those white couches. They’re slipcovered, but not just covered in sheets… I am more like my mother than I want to be. :)
