You can pull off this easy DIY project in just minutes – even if Halloween is just around the corner. Making this Frankenstein cup was a lot of fun.
It’s so easy that it’s also a great activity for kids to do before Halloween or during a Halloween party.
Or you could put together little gift bags with all of the supplies for your kid’s friends!
DIY Frankenstein Cup
Getting ready for Halloween is a lot of fun – I’m always surprised what Landon wants to be every year.
He’s been a lion, Donald Duck, a police officer, a dragon, a workerman, a fireman, a ghost, and the Phantom of the Opera. This year he’s wearing some scary mask and a bloody sword. Yikes!
You know what’s going to happen, right? Since he needs a hand for the candy bag, and a hand to grab the candy, I’ll be holding a scary mask and a bloody sword all night. Yikes.
Do you decorate your home for Halloween? I do, with a few simple decorations I’ve collected over the years.
DIY Frankenstein Cup Supplies:
- green cups
- glue dots (my favorite craft supply!)
- googly eyes (stickers)
- small black clothes pins (or paint them black with a Sharpie)
- permanent marker
Once you have all of the supplies, it doesn’t take much to create these cute cups!
Just stick on two eyes, clip on the little black clothes pins to make the top of the head, and then get creative with the kind of design you want for the eye brows and scars and mouth.
Here are a couple of Frankenstein cup decorating ideas:
If you don’t have googly eyes, you could also just draw on two eyes with the Sharpie marker.
You can make these cute Frankenstein cups with your kids or as a surprise for them, or to decorate your home for Halloween.
Obviously, you could draw many different Frankenstein faces and get really creative.
