Dagmar's Home "Thrifty & Vintage Finds" Link Party

Welcome to “Thrifty & Vintage Finds” link party No. 84!

If you found an amazing deal lately, a vintage or thrifty find, then I’d love you to link up. You might get featured next week!

I went to this year’s local Women’s Club tag sale, which is one sale I get up early for. This is probably my favorite sale of the year.

Don went to a tennis tournament, so Landon tagged along with me.

016aHe only bought one toy — not this one — and I bought soo many treasures!

We spent hours at the sale. I shopped a bit, Landon ate a bagel, I shopped some more, Landon played at the playground. We stop to say hi to friends, bought Don two gluten-free brownies, and I shopped some more.

After four hours or so, the car was full with amazing finds. Not sure why L looks like he’s mad — we had a lot of fun.

019This is most of what I bought, but there are many more smalls that are not in this picture.

This amazing little vintage trunk was only $9! And the mason jars were just $2.

024a025aPlus, on the way home, I went to another tag sale and bought more things. I spent over $150, but you wouldn’t believe how many items I acquired for a dollar or two.

I could have bought many more, but I was actually really picky this time, since I don’t have my booth at the Newburgh Vintage Emporium anymore.

Trying to decide which one of my finds is my favorite is pretty hard. It’s a toss-up between that awesome trunk and this set of five white vintage canisters.

They were my first purchase at 9 am — and set me back the most, $40 — but I just had to have them for our white cottage kitchen.

Now, why do you suppose there are two “tea” canisters? Is the second from a different set?

Could be, since the label is different.

Did you show off your latest find last week? If you linked up, thank you!

You guys, there were so many great entries again! It is so much fun to check out all of your posts.

I decided to feature Melissa, who blogs at Melissa’s Antiques. She brought home as much as I did! My favorite of her finds are these three blue vintage suitcases.

Thanks for linking up again, Melissa! Feel free to add this button to your post or blog if you like. I really hope you’ll link up again.

If you weren’t featured this week but would like to be, just link up the same post again, and any new ones.

Your turn! If you’ve picked up a thrifty or vintage find lately, I’d love to see it.

I’m thrilled about any link, but if you want to get featured, please only link up thrifty or vintage finds, and link back to this post. I also feature DIY posts if you transformed something that was originally a thrifty or vintage find.

And after you link up, it would be lovely if you would share this party — pin, stumble, tweet away! The bigger the party, the more exposure for all of us.

How to link up:

  • Link up posts about your thrifty or/and vintage find.
  • Please add the party button to your post {see code below} or a link back to this link party post so others can be inspired to join in the fun. Only posts with a link to this party will be considered to be featured.
  • No links to giveaways, or shop or Etsy sites please.
  • By submitting a link you are authorizing for your project to be featured. Featured links will include a photo and a link back to the originating site.

Wowee, Dagmar, you hit the mother lode! Just really great stuff, and I love that L joins you on the hunt. We’ve just redone our booths (sharing), and we’re headed to our community yard sale to purge some great stuff this weekend, weather permitting. Love that trunk you got, but those canisters are sweet. And I love Melissa’s suitcases, which reminds me to get over there and read about them because I missed it!
Have a great week,
