Here are several wonderful Valentine’s Day ideas I found on Pinterest that stood out to me because of how simple, clever, or unique they are.
Are you already thinking of Valentine’s Day decor?
I know, your Christmas tree might still be up, but if you are a DIY or lifestyle blogger, you probably are, ha!
I’m already planning a tablescape for Valentine’s Day, and a few DIY decorations I want to make.
But before I go crazy decorating everything with red hearts, I want to enjoy the simple winter decor in our cottage at least a few more days.
That doesn’t mean I can’t stalk Pinterest at 2 am for great Valentine’s Day decor ideas for your partner, for kids, for friends, and for breakfast.

My 5 Favorite Valentine’s Day Ideas From Pinterest
For your hubby:
I have so many googly eyes from crafting, I could make this is a few minutes — and you can, too!
For your friends:
This red nail polish with a sweet little note card is the perfect Valentine’s gift for girlfriends. Just hand-write the note if you don’t have time to print some out.
For the kids:
There are so many amazing ideas for Valentine’s Day treats for kids, like these, but this is my favorite this year.
I’m not a fan of the “You’re so hot” or “I’ve got my eyes on you” Valentines — I think that’s kind of creepy for little kids — but this idea is so adorable for Landon’s classmates, plus these little bags are easy to make.
And which child doesn’t like Swedish fish? Here is the link to the post with the tutorial for the Glad you’re in my school valentine.
For breakfast:
This is why having a heart-shapes cookie cutter is handy. If you don’t have one, I guess you can try to cut a heart shape with a knife.
Having a heart-shaped cookie cutter make making this treat easy. I have this set that comes in handy because it has so many sizes.
Valentine’s Day art/decor:
Come on, you could make something similar and frame it (without the glass) even if you aren’t a talented artist.
Or hand the kids some colored paper and see if they can pull this off! I bet it would look great.

I LOVE the eggs in a nest post! Such a sweet memory with my grandma growing up. I would wait at her feet while she got the pan ready and she always let me take the bite out of the middle of the bread. Granted, it never looked as cute as the heart one you’re featuring here, but it’s still a sweet moment for me. Thank you for this! Your blog is so cute, too!

Valentine’s Day is one of those holidays I have the bad habit of skipping out on for decor. (Shameful DIY blogger confession!) These ideas are sweet and simple, so I could probably make the time! Thanks for sharing at Merry Monday!
