Walking the High Line is one of those must-do things when you’re visiting New York City.

As I already mentioned, my mom and I took the train to New York City to check out the High Line.
The High Line is a public park built on an historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side.
You get to walk above and between the building, and it’s beautiful!
We got on at West 20th Street between Tenth and Eleventh Avenue, but the High Line runs from Gansevoort Street all the way to West 30th Street.
Construction is going on to have the High Line go even further on both ends.
After a few blocks, we got off to eat at the Chelsea Market, and then we got back on and walked it all the way to 30th Street to the end.
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect.
The High Line in Manhattan needs to be on your bucket list for sure!

Wow, that looks so awesome. I have never been to NYC, can you believe that? Horrible, I know. I need to change that.

Bucket list! Are you coming to BlogHer this year? Or are you coming to Type-A Parent Conference? I decided to go last-minute because I was asked to moderate. But I’ll definitely be at BlogHer since it’s so close.
