Dagmar’s Home Link Party No. 192
Welcome to Dagmar’s Home. If you are here for the first time — hello, hello.
After not posting the party last week, it’s back! I just had too much going on with my mom being here and Thanksgiving.
Our first vegan Thanksgiving was a big hit, by the way.
This weekly link party used to be for sharing thrifty or vintage finds — because I love everything thrifty or vintage — but I opened it up for all kinds of posts.
If you have been visiting my blog for a long time, you know that I still like to show you my latest thrifty or vintage finds.
Do you remember this odd frame I found at HomeGoods on clearance for just $7 because one of the frames was broken off?
I wanted to show you how I ended up using it!
I simply took all the small frames off the larger one, removed about 50 nails, and then framed vintage seed packets to display them on our wall next to my “linen closet” curio upstairs.
Vintage Seed Packets Decor
If the vintage seed packets look familiar, I’ve used them in the past for this banner.
Instead of putting five nails into the wall, i used my trusty removable Command velcro stickers to hang the frames.
I like that they make hanging things straight so easy, because you can readjust the frame, and that you can remove them without damaging the wall when you change your mind and want to hang something different on the wall.
For Christmas, I thing I’m adding a wreath above the large frame, with a Command hook.
In the future, I can easily exchange the seed packets with all kinds of other art.
Let’s get this party started! Feel free to share your latest and greatest from your blog.
Link up posts about home decor, recipes, DIY projects, tips and tricks, parenting, and more.
I always feature my favorite post the following week, so if you are interested in being featured, please link back to this post.
So many awesome posts have been linked up again to the last party.
This week, I decided to feature Ashley, who blogs at Simply Designing by Ashley Phipps.
She shared her vintage farmhouse holiday tablescape. Vintage and farmhouse? Love it!
Those red truck plates are adorable.
Thanks for sharing your post with us, Ashley! Feel free to add this “Featured” button to your post.
