St. Patrick’s Day Mantel Decor Ideas

Welcome to Dagmar’s Home!

You are looking for St. Patrick’s Day mantel decor ideas? Then you’ve come to the right place!

If you don’t have a mantel, you could obviously decorate your table or a windowsill or a different spot in your home like this.

I love having a mantel to decorate since we moved into the Blue Cottage, and I take advantage of it a lot by changing the decor for every season and holiday.

I don’t move furniture around often, but changing the mantel decor is a quick update that gives our cottage a new look all the time.

A week ago I added the vintage seed packets banner to our mantel, and over the last few days I’ve added more and more green and St. Patrick’s Day-themed items.

Except for the big shamrocks and the porcelain key and feather on the bird cages, which I picked up at Michael’s for a few dollars, I didn’t buy anything new for this mantel decor.

Instead, I “shopped” in our cottage for green decor and added it to the mantel.

I forget where the green necklace came from, but I found it while decluttering L’s toy closet and simply added it around the milk bottles.

Those two St. Paddy’s Day cups are a tagsale find that I also unearthed a few weeks ago and kept nearby because I knew St. Patrick’s Day was coming up.

“Blarney spoken here”!

I almost added this frame to my Dagmar’s Home Decor Etsy store and then thought better of it.

It makes a great addition to the mantel, and all I did was add a vintage page of notes to it.

I collect vintage bottles in all kinds of colors, and these are the two green ones I have.

This is an orchid from Trader Joe’s that is done blooming, but I like how low-maintenance they are after the flowers are gone.

The little bird nests finish off the look, and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

Now I’m already looking forward to decorating the mantel for Easter!

I hope my mantel decor gives you some ideas for your own St. Paddy’s day decor.
