9 DIY Thanksgiving Decorating Ideas From Pinterest

Thanksgiving decorating ideas from Pinterest, DagmarBleasdale.com

I’m planning my Thanksgiving table decor for the Blue Cottage, and Pinterest is usually the first place I go to for inspiration.

What did we ever do before Pinterest?

I used to rip pages out of decorating magazines all the time, and I still have them all in boxes and folders, but now they just collect dust, and I pin everything to my many boards.

Here are nine of my favorite Thanksgiving decorating ideas I gathered from Pinterest.

Thanksgiving Decorating Ideas From Pinterest

Interesting candelabra with little pumpkins:

Thanksgiving decor doesn’t have to include the color orange or red. I just love this seafoam color theme.

I love this idea of pumpkins in glass vessels:

Cute Thanksgiving centerpiece of candles in a little crate.

I just bought one of those a few days ago, but I’m not sure if I’ll use it for my Thanksgiving table decorations this year.

Super easy: spray paint leaves with gold paint, then tie a nametag to it.

Make your own DIY Thanksgiving placemats. This idea is really cute for any gathering, don’t you think? I’ve done something similar for a Christmas tablescape.

Another easy way to add charm to a Thanksgiving table: add velvet ribbons to silverware.

Add a beautifully handwritten print to your Thanksgiving decor. This could be the back of the menu for your guests or framed for added visual interest.

Inspired to try out one or more of these ideas? Which one is your favorite?

Check out my “fall and Halloween decor” board for countless other ideas, and I keep adding to them all the time.

These two little critters and I are wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Hi Dagmar,
Great ideas here. Always loves those tiny white pumpkins, they are so cute, and liked
them all, but really liked the last one I think it was with the printed card that said about being thankful and giving, The gold leaf was pretty too, I did something like that before
but glittered my leaves.
Hope this finds you doing well.
Blessings, Nellie
