Welcome to another Dagmar’s Home link party. If you are here for the first time — hello, hello!
I usually post this party much earlier in the week — but we had a tornado touch down in our area, which is unusual in New York, and unfortunately we are the house that ended up with their neighbor’s huge oak tree on our house and yard.
Can you believe this? We just went through a storm a few months ago — and ended up with a huge tree in our yard and no power for over a week.
This storm came so suddenly, with crazy winds and dark clouds and rain, I didn’t have time to comprehend the danger. Landon was outside when the storm hit, he saw the tree fall on our house, and I was in the house — and we could have both been hit. The wind was insane!
It ripped two power polls and all the power lines for the whole street with it, plus several electric meters, including ours, so it has been a bit of a nightmare getting everything put back together.
We’ve been without power since Tuesday and won’t have it back for another few days, but things could have been much worse, and writing this post is a welcome distraction from the many phone calls I’m making all day.
Let’s party! This weekly link party used to be for sharing thrifty or vintage finds, because I love everything thrifty or vintage, but I opened it up for all kinds of posts. I like seeing them all!
I promised you last week that I’m showing you my thrifty finds from the church rummage sale that just cost 25 cents each!
What a bargain to get all of these items for just $3! I actually have four of those pink glass candle holders.
Did you link up a post last week? Thanks for sharing your post!
I always feature my favorite post the following week, so if you are interested in being featured, please link back to this post.
I decided to highlight Ashley’s post, who blogs at At Home With Ashley.
She redid her patio with really pretty tile.
Thanks for sharing your post with us, Ashley — I love that tile! What a nice little corner you have in your backyard. Feel free to add this “Featured” button to your post or blog.
Here is the code for the button:
<p class=”alignnone” title=”Featured on DagmarBleasdale.com”><a href=”https://www.dagmarbleasdale.com/” target=”_blank” rel=”attachment wp-att-26915″><img class=”aligncenter wp-image-26915″ title=”Featured on DagmarBleasdale.com” src=”https://www.dagmarbleasdale.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/DagmarBleasdale.com-featured.jpg” alt=”Featured on DagmarBleasdale.com” width=”200″ height=”200″ /></a></p>
