Reebok’s ZigTech Sneakers
Last year’s winter was pretty bad here, snow after snow, and I really had my heart set on an easier winter this year.
Wishful thinking. We had the big Juno snow storm, and the snow hasn’t stopped since then. It’s been the coldest February in New York since 1934, and there are 3 feet of snow in our front yard.
I don’t mind having an excuse to stay home because I can’t make it out of the driveway, but I can tell Landon is getting restless and has more energy than usually.
It’s been so cold that they don’t even let the kids run outside during school recess.
I can’t wait for warmer weather so he can run around outside. This kid loves to run. And he’s really good at it.
During the last few summers, he’s participated in a running program, and he has won many races.
We’ve had coaches encourage us to keep enrolling him in running or track programs because they think he has a natural talent for it.
He clearly inherited Don’s athletic talents, not mine.
L enjoys running, and it’s wonderful to see his pride when he does well in the races. That’s really what’s most important to me.
We can’t wait for spring, and we already have new fab running shoes for L that he wants to wear and show his friends!
Reebok’s newest addition to the Kid Zig line — the ‘ZigTech Big N’ Fast EX’ sneakers — are now available at Finishline.com and Finish Line store, and L and I got to pick out his favorite pair online.
Of course he chose the fun red ones — I would’ve chosen the black/gray ones with the cool neon laces. There are also a couple cute ones for girls.
I ordered them half a size to big so they’ll fit perfectly in a couple of months. I always make sure L’s shoes are the right size because it’s important to me that his feet don’t get crammed while they grow.
He really likes the cool shape and net design. He’s been running up and down the stairs with them and says they are super comfortable, but I want him to wait for better weather to start wearing them.
It would be a shame to get them all dirty in the snow and puddles right now.
As you can see, the Reebok ZigTech is crafted with a lightweight foam forming a fun zig zag shape to provide ultimate support for energetic kids.
My feet get really hot in sneakers, and it’s the same for L, so I like that this sneaker is designed to wick away moisture.
Do your kids have new shoes for the spring they can’t wait to wear?
