Hmm, time for Not Me! Monday.
You want honesty? Here you go:
My next New York City Moms blog article was not overdue. I finally finished it this morning and it’s in the cue. I’ll let you know when it gets published. It’s called “Natural Birth, Duggar Style.”
I do not still owe someone a book review, have to watch a video about breastfeeding and write the review, and manage 1781 e-mails that are staring back at me in bold in my inbox.
And I have one hour to do this all before I have to pick up Landon from preschool.
I do not love the fact that Don is at home. Not true.
I love to have him around during the week, but right now he’s home because he’s in too much pain to work. He can’t even open a jar of peanut butter right now. So on the other hand I’ll be glad when I see him less if it’s because he is back to being healthy.
I did not just boss Don around and tell him to write down all the questions he has for the naturopath tomorrow.
He isn’t the most organized type, and I can’t come to the appointment and drill the doctor myself.
And guess what, he says he wrote questions down — that’s a first! I’m taking back my bossy suggestion.
We did not let Landon stay up until 11 p.m. last night. We came home late after watching the Super Bowl at Grandma’s with the Bleasdale Clan and then let him play some more with his trains.
L has the amazing ability to play all by himself for a long time in the middle of the night.
I get so much done when he plays like that, when he doesn’t call “Mommyyyyyy!” every two minutes.
Why doesn’t he ever play like this during the day? :)
