I yell: “Get back in that room. I don’t want to see your face right now!” the other day at Landon.
He wasn’t listening to me, the house was hot, and he didn’t stay in his room where I had sent him. I was busy cleaning up the latest mess he had made in the bathroom and so frustrated.
So I said: “I don’t want to see your face right now!” and got back what I deserved: Landon finally stopped jumping around, and with a sad face he said: “No, you want to see this face! It’s a cute one.”
Oh, that about broke my heart. How awful I felt for having snapped at him!
It wasn’t right to have said that to him, and I won’t do it again. He got me goood!
In other news:
I bought this little ladder at the Lasdon Park’s antique show, and L helped me bring it to the car. He’s always been my little buddy — he’s up for anything, even antiquing with Mama. I have to say he is very patient and loves to help.
