I had read about the sale in the paper and was looking forward to going to it for days.
There were only a few tables full of things, but I did find some thrifty treasures. The first thing that caught my eye was this wooden bucket, and after talking the seller down to $20 (instead of $25), it was coming home with me.
I also found this tiny bell for my mom’s bell collection.
Instead, I bought a blue Ball glass jar for $2 and this vintage Dutch Masters tin for $2. After just having visited the Pennsylvania Amish, I just couldn’t pass it up! It joined my other vintage tins — I have quite a collection by now.
I’m linking up this post to Rhoda’s Southern Hospitality “Thrifty Treasures” post.
Do you like to go to antique or tag sales? Did you find some treasures last week?
