Oh, how I love tag sales!
I usually only go to them when I happen to see a sign for a tag sale on the side of the road, and last weekend I totally scored at three different tag sales:
- 2 fake potted plants: $1
- little, white bookshelf: $3
- Christmas decorations: $4
- little Christmas tree: $2
- lamp shade: 25 cents
- hand-painted pitcher from Poland: $1
- big planter: $1
- gardening seat with wheels: $5
I also bought the biggest wicker storage box that can seat two people for just $10, but for now its in Grandma’s garage. Oh, and I bought an ironing board for $3! Now that Don is an ESL teacher, I need to iron his dressy clothes.
What do you think, did I do well?
I put the bookshelf in the smaller bathroom for now and am displaying a few things in it, but eventually I want to repaint it, as well as the wicker box.
All those Christmas decorations will come in handy soon, and for now I decorated the outside of our home with the flower pots.
The pitcher is so heavy by itself, I think I’ll only put flowers into it.
And Landon has taken ownership of the gardening seat on wheels and proudly stores his gardening tools in it.
What has been you best tag sale find?
