Dagmar’s Home Link Party No. 154
Welcome to Dagmar’s Home!
If you are here for the first time because you’ve seen me featured in Real Simple, hello! I hope you’ll stay a while.
This party used to be for sharing thrifty or vintage finds — because I love everything thrifty or vintage — but I opened it up for all kinds of posts. I usually also share a bit about my week in this link party post.
Landon and I had a wonderful time in New York City last Tuesday. We had an appointment in the city, but after that he insisted we go to The Intrepid Museum.
It was snowing and really cold, but we were lucky to get a cab that drove us there.
Our feet got wet walking on the Intrepid deck, but we had a great time checking out the submarine, all of the planes, and learned a bunch about how an aircraft carrier works, thanks to the knowledgeable volunteers.
We were the last ones to walk out at 5 pm, and now it was my turn for a treat: I had seen a Salvation Army thrift store sign across from the Intrepid, and I couldn’t wait to check it out.
Since we were walking back to Grand Central, I could only buy what would fit into my backpack, but these Royal Worcester bone china plates with a lily of the valley motive were an absolute must:
You can find similar ones on Amazon.
I bought four large plates and eight small bread and butter plates (style RW72) for just $15, and I’ll use them as inspiration for my upcoming Easter tablescape. I can’t wait!
Let’s get this party started! Feel free to share the latest and greatest from your blog.
Link up posts about home decor, vintage or thrifty amazing finds, recipes, DIY projects, tips and tricks, parenting, and more.
I always feature my favorite post the following week, so if you are interested in being featured, please link back to this post.
Did you add your post at the last party? It was so much fun to look through the posts. You are all so creative!
I decided to feature Tammy, who blogs at One More Time.
I love her wall decor idea with small curtain rods and IKEA items, and her adorable centerpiece:
All of it would also look pretty in our Blue Cottage.
Thanks for sharing your post with us, Tammy! Feel free to add this “Featured” button to your blog.
Here is the code for the button:
