Immune Boosters: Vitamins With Echinacea
What do you do to keep yourself and your family healthy during the winter — which immune boosters do you use?
We are fortunate that all three of us are usually healthy. We don’t have a cold that often — actually I can’t remember Landon ever having a really bad cold in all his eight years.
L is one of those kids who hardly ever misses school — knock on wood. I believe that is partly because he was nursed for so long.
He enjoyed the many health benefits from breast milk for so many years, and I also think he built a healthy immune system because of it.
And then again I have no way of knowing that that is the reason.
As a mom, I obviously want to do what I can to make sure he keeps his healthy immune system, especially in the winter. Because as long as your immune system is healthy, your body can fight whatever germs or illnesses are around you.
Immune boosters are important, and I like to use natural, homeopathic remedies.
Aside from making sure my shorts-loving boy is wearing long pants in the winter and gets enough sleep, I see to it that he eats healthy, nutritious food, and supplement with vitamins when I feel like he’s had too much pizza instead of broccoli.

Zarbee’s Naturals makes it easy to boost your family’s health — it now also has a line of four immune support products for the whole family, from infants to adults.
I love their products and buy their cough syrup for myself, and I was eager to try out their Daily Bee Gummy Immune Support, which includes echinacea aside from Vitamin A, C, E, Selenium, and Zinc.
I’m a big fan of homeopathy having grown up in Germany. My mom is a big believer in homeopathic immune boosters and gave us echinacea when my brother and I weren’t feeling well.
Now I use echinacea the second I feel like I’m coming down with something. Works like a charm, and I like the fact that it’s a resource from nature. Nature rocks!
As you can see, these vitamin gummies are a hit in our home — Don, L, and I have all been eating them and the container is almost empty.
They are really yummy, and it’s convenient to have echinacea already added in the gummy instead of having to give it to L separately. Now we are all set to brave this winter.
If you are not familiar with Zarbee’s Naturals, they manufacture the nation’s #1 natural cough product and a line of “family-safe” health and wellness products free from drugs, alcohol, gluten and dyes — just how I like products for my family and myself.
Hello immune boosters! Here is to staying healthy this winter!
Have you ever used echinacea to boost your health?

These sound wonderful. My son has an impaired immune system, and takes vitamins, but I’d love for him to switch to these natural ones! I like that they don’t have gluten, either. Thanks for sharing! Subscribed, followed, and pinned :-) Have a happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Ashley, thanks for coming by! I’m all about natural remedies if they are one of the options. I’d double-check with his doctor and hope the added echinacea will boost his immune system.
