I am not much of a sports fan, but the Bleasdale clan is. They are all crazy about all kinds of sports, and they are all amazingly talented! Uncle Steve is an incredible runner (one of the best in his age group), Aunt Maria is one of the fastest in her age group on shorter distances, Grandma was a champion tennis player and still plays (and tap dances every year at out Christmas party show!), cousin Dylan is a great baseball and football player (quarterback), cousin Burke was one of the best wrestlers in New York State and now plays football in college, and it goes on and on… This family gets together to watch golf, tennis, football, or baseball on TV more than any family I know. They enjoy to watch and to participate in sports.
Me? Not so much. I’m afraid of every sport that involves a ball. And if I can’t do a sport within the first few minutes, forget it (so I like cross-country skiing, for example. Bowling maybe? Oh, no, requires a ball). Sport wasn’t exactly a big thing where I grew up. Yet Don is a great yogi, golfer, and tennis player, and was a quarterback in high school and college. I think that’s so sexy! He so isn’t the typical jock; he is the introverted, modest, intellectual type who doesn’t want too much attention (he actually had me delete “golfer”!). But that combination is even sexier! But I digress…
So the whole family oozes talent, and I just hope Landon inherits the Bleasdale genes! If he gets mine, he might be halfway decent in ballet… We have high hopes, hence the outfit.
