A few days ago Landon and I met up with a few other attachment parenting moms and their kids for a walk at Muscoot Farm.
Forest kindergarten is a Waldorf preschool education program that encourages children to learn outdoors, no matter what the weather.
We met a lot of animals, got a nice walk in while it was drizzling, and had a snack and read a few books about fall up at the gazebo.
If you live near Katonah in Westchester, NY, check out Muscoot Farm. It is a wonderful working farm and there is always something fun to do for kids year round, like the Fairy Walk we went to last year. They are offering hay rides and pumpkin picking right now in the fall.
