Dagmar’s Home Link Party No. 152
Welcome to Dagmar’s Home!
If you are here for the first time because you’ve seen me featured in Real Simple magazine, hello, there! I hope you’ll stay a while.
This party used to be for sharing thrifty or vintage finds — because I love everything thrifty or vintage and decorate our home with both — but I opened it up for all kinds of posts.
I usually also share a bit about my week in this link party post.
What a fun few days I’ve had! Landon has been off for four days, we went ice skating for the first time this winter, and I helped my sister-in-law build and design a website to showcase her writing.
Our heater went out on Saturday, so we made it through a pretty cold night in our Blue Cottage, but it was also kind of adventurous.
We ended up making cookies to heat the house a bit with the oven heat :)
I don’t mind being inconvenienced for a day — it keeps you humble and makes you appreciate what you have.
I was reminded of a post I wrote six years ago, and I want to share it with you this week:
I reread it today, and so much has changed, but the sentiment is still the same.
We don’t live in a tiny rental anymore, we are living in our Blue Cottage at the end of the road, and I finally got a new car after having my Honda CRV for 18 years.
We have so much to be thankful for. As you can imagine, I’m especially thrilled to be featured in Real Simple this month.
It’s fun to walk past the magazine rack and see myself in one of the magazines. So much work went into getting there.
Let’s get this party started! Feel free to share anything and everything that’s the latest and greatest on your blog.
Link up posts about home decor, vintage or thrifty amazing finds, recipes, DIY projects, tips and tricks, parenting tips, gift guides, etc., and then find new blogs and great ideas from fellow bloggers.
I always feature my favorite post the following week, so if you are interested in being featured, please link back to this post.
Did you add your post at the last party? It was so much fun to look through the posts. You are all so creative!
I bought it from a sweet old lady at a tag sale who said it was her moms, so that fragile little cup survived many years before I got to take it home and add it to my tea cup collection.
Thanks for linking up, Janet! Feel free to add this button to your post or blog.
Here is the code for the button:
