There are many benefits to wearing your baby in a sling, wrap, or other baby carrier, and I wrote about my 5 favorite reasons why babywearing is beneficial for EverydayFamily.com.
Did you wear your baby or toddler, or are you an expecting mom interested in babywearing?
I used the Maya wrap, mostly for traveling. I also tried the Bjorn carrier, but L didn’t like it.
I wish they would’ve had all those other baby carriers I see moms with nowadays — a lot of improvements have happened since L was a baby. I miss those babywearing days.
Do you have a favorite baby carrier?

August 16, 2013 at 12:04 AMFound you through The Jenny Evolution. I had a colicky baby that did not like to be put down. The Moby wrap was a lifesaver! I could easily carry him around and eat a sandwich or dinner without a screaming baby. The Moby was a little bulky and I didn’t really use it outside the house. Hubby used a Baby Bjorn when LO got a bit bigger. LO was born 6 weeks premature and was in the NICU for 3 weeks. I now see they have shirts modified to tuck in the baby and wished I had had one for the NICU and the “kangaroo care.” I think that would be beneficial for any preemie.
