Welcome to another Dagmar’s Home link party. If you are here for the first time — hello, hello!
This weekly link party used to be for sharing thrifty or vintage finds, because I love everything thrifty or vintage, but I opened it up for all kinds of posts.
I like seeing them all!
If you have been visiting my blog for a long time, you know that I still like to show you my latest thrifty or vintage finds.
Wow, do I have a lot to show you this week!
I went to the yearly church rummage sale in Katonah, which is a week-long feast for people who love to go thrifting, and I totally scored!
I found a lot of items in the room they have set up where every items only cost a quarter per piece.
I’ll show you those next week — you won’t BELIEVE what I found for 25 cents.
After I dropped off two heavy bags full of treasures at my car, I went back into the church, this time into the room where the nicer items are sold.
I wasn’t expecting much and didn’t want to pay much more, but then I noticed all the vintage silver they were selling.
Well, it’s all mine now :) I couldn’t grab all these beautiful pieces fast enough.
Can you believe that beautiful water pitcher with feet only cost me $5? The set of tall silver candle sticks cost $5, the smaller one $1, that 5-piece set on the right set me back only $12, the tray $5, and the sugar bowl with a top $3.
Let’s start this party!
Did you link up a post last week? Thanks for sharing your post!
I always feature my favorite post the following week, so if you are interested in being featured, please link back to this post.
I decided to highlight Angie’s post, who blogs at The Country Chic Cottage.
She created a genius hanging herb garden that’s inexpensive and would work for homes that are short on space.
It would also work well on porches, patios, or on a garden fence.
