Thrifty & Vintage Finds Link Party, Dagmar's Home

Welcome to “Thrifty & Vintage Finds” link party No. 112!

If you found an amazing deal lately, a vintage or thrifty find, then I’d love you to link up. You might get featured next week!

I also feature DIY posts if you transformed something that was originally a thrifty or vintage find.

I found some fun items at the thrift store last week!

bone china anniversary dishThis teapot isn’t vintage and was made in China, but having grown up in my parents’ antiques store and loving everything vintage, I just couldn’t pass it up. It’s so cute!

I’m stumped by what the white thing is next to the gate on the left. And why do you suppose the chair is hanging on the wall?

This Royal Albert anniversary plate was $2. I’m going to add it to my Etsy store.

011aThis little vase is a Wedgwood vase that was made for the Cunard ship company. I tried to find out more about it but was only able to find one like it someone is selling on eBay for $49. I bought this for $2.

012aThe last thing I decided to buy for $3 is this milk glass vase/glass. I’ve never seen one before with gold trim like this. Have you? I’m adding it to my milk glass collection.

Did you show off your latest find last week? If you linked up, thank you!

I decided to feature Amanda, who blogs at Apostrophe Beige, a new blog to me. Her husband bought her this vintage recipe box after she mentioned she would like on — how thoughtful is this?

Thanks for linking up, Amanda! I’m so glad you did so —  love your blog! Feel free to add this button to your post or blog if you like, and I hope you’ll link up again.

Your turn! If you’ve picked up a thrifty or vintage find lately, I’d love to see it.

I’m thrilled about any link, but if you want to get featured, please only link up thrifty or vintage finds, and link back to this post.

I also feature DIY posts if you transformed something that was originally a thrifty or vintage find.

And after you link up, it would be lovely if you would share this party — pin, stumble, tweet away! The bigger the party, the more exposure for all of us.

Actually, I think those little white things are tags on all the items, since the teapot is labeled antiques (like it’s a store display). Next to the gate on the right – the white item – looks like a birdbath maybe? Then the stool…

Hi Dagmar, that little white thing on the gate is a lock. We hang chairs for display at the antique mall, hehe. I would keep the bud vase! Cunard is a cruise ship line, so you ought to be able to date the ‘souvenir’ someone obviously stashed. ;) Thanks for having us to share our finds.

Hi Rita, oh, they are locks? Makes sense! I’m also seen chairs on the walls in thrift stores.
