Butter Chardonnay Makes Mother’s Day So Much Better

What would you love to get for Mother’s Day?

A day to yourself? Or a handmade gift? A few hours of pampering at a spa?

On last year’s Mother’s Day, my husband and son tried to make me breakfast.

I might have hinted that I’d love to have breakfast in bed for the first time.

After a lot of yelling back and forth from downstairs to upstairs…

  • “How does this thing work?!”
  • “Where do you store the coffee?
  • “Daddy wants to know how you take your coffee again!”

…I was in stitches over all the back and forth, and eventually enjoyed coffee that was too sweet and eggs that were a little soggy.

I’ve learned my lesson: this year I’m sleeping in and have a Mother’s Day brunch the way I want to enjoy it with my family.

I wish my mom could join us, she’s in Germany, but we’ll have Don’s mom here and Don’s three sisters if they can make it.

I appreciated Don and Landon’s effort, it was very sweet, but breakfast in bed is overrated, in my view.

I love setting a pretty table, so this was a lot of fun for me, plus I included all my favorites: Brie cheese, salad, baguette, plus chocolate cake.

I’ll include butter and Butter — butter for Landon, and Butter, a California Chardonnay, for the adults.

Is there anything more yummy than Brie, baguette, and wine? I deserve a bit of Butter on Mother’s Day. It lives up to its name with a full and creamy buttery flavor.

Everything’s better with butter and Butter – this year’s Mother’s Day will be more enjoyable for everyone. No stressing out about how the Keurig works on Don’s part, or the crumbs in bed.

Why wait for your family to celebrate you — this year I took it into my own hands to celebrate Mother’s Day.

I couldn’t wait and had a glass, and this 2014 Butter Chardonnay is delicious and tastes great with just about anything.

“JaM” is actually short for John and Michele, second-generation vintners who own and run JaM Cellars. As you can tell by the name of their wine, they don’t take themselves too seriously!

The 2014 Butter Chardonnay and 2014 JaM Cabernet won SILVER at the 2016 San Francisco Chronicle International Wine Awards!

Being cold fermented and aged in their own blend of oak gives this wine a lovely vanilla finish that’s uniquely Butter.

You can find Butter Chardonnay at select stores across the nation, including Wholefoods and Kroger. Follow/Like JaM Cellars on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter #JaMCellars @JaMCellars

Will you have a Mother’s Day brunch or lunch? To me, there’s nothing is better than sleeping in on Mother’s Day and getting up for brunch with wine!

Bring on the wine! Because — motherhood.
