“Thrifty & Vintage Finds” Link Party #95 — Faux Deer Head

Dagmar's Home "Thrifty & Vintage Finds" Link Party

Welcome to “Thrifty & Vi5tage Finds” link party No. 95!

If you found an amazing deal lately, a vintage or thrifty find, then I’d love you to link up. You might get featured next week!

I’ve been so busy with decorating our Blue Cottage for Christmas — it’s taking much longer than I thought.

The living room is finally all photographed, and Landon and I redecorated the Christmas tree today — we changed the simple mercury glass ornaments I used to decorate it to what he likes best — piling  on every ornament we own.

Here is a peek of the Christmas decor in our living room, and I’m showing you my thrifty find. It’s this white faux deer head I found at HomeGoods for $25.

Do you remember the two hutch doors I picked up for free and featured a few weeks ago? I painted one white to frame the faux deer head with it.

Come back soon for the second part of my Christmas Home Tour to see more, and in the meantime enjoy part one about how I decorated our kitchen for Christmas and how I made our Christmas tree look a lot fuller — for free.

Did you show off your latest find last week? If you linked up, thank you!

I decided to feature Rita, who writes Panoply. She created a lovely collage of all her recent finds. We definitely have the same taste — I would’ve picked up most of these myself.

Thanks for linking up again, Rita! Feel free to add this button to your post or blog if you like.

If you weren’t featured this week but would like to be, just link up the same post again, and any new ones.

Your turn! If you’ve picked up a thrifty or vintage find lately, I’d love to see it.

I’m thrilled about any link, but if you want to get featured, please only link up thrifty or vintage finds, and link back to this post. I also feature DIY posts if you transformed something that was originally a thrifty or vintage find.

And after you link up, it would be lovely if you would share this party — pin, stumble, tweet away! The bigger the party, the more exposure for all of us.

How to link up:

  • Link up posts about your thrifty or/and vintage find.
  • Please add the party button to your post {see code below} or a link back to this link party post so others can be inspired to join in the fun.
  • Only posts with a link to this party will be considered for a feature.
  • No links to giveaways, or shop or Etsy sites please.
  • By submitting a link you are authorizing for your project to be featured. Featured links will include a photo and a link back to the originating site.

Your decorating looks just beautiful, Dagmar. I have the same deer head in silver :) but haven’t found a place to hang it yet. Love the idea of framing it. Thanks for hosting!

Dagmar, I love what you’ve done with your cabinet front and the deer head! I find simple things like hanging objects with pretty, festive ribbons really catch my eye with holiday decor, and I love how you’ve done that throughout your home.

Thank you so much for featuring my November finds, and for hosting the party!
