Dagmar's Home "Thrifty & Vintage Finds" Link Party

Welcome to “Thrifty & Vintage Finds” link party No. 85!

If you found an amazing deal lately, a vintage or thrifty find, then I’d love you to link up. You might get featured next week!

Hello, everybody, welcome back! I have been out of commission because I moved my blog host.

If you haven’t been able to see my blog, or it’s acting oddly, that’s the reason.

It’s such a pain to move hosting companies, and I lost my Wordless Wednesday post in the process, but I’m so thrilled I’m finally with a new host. I can already tell that the blog is loading must faster.

I might write a whole post about the move, the why and how, but let’s get this party started! I’ve been itching to blog for days.

Last week I told you about that mega tag sale I go to every year in town. I have thrifty and vintage finds to show you for weeks from just that sale.

Vintage Picnic Tin

I bought this cute vintage picnic tin from the same lady who sold me her white vintage canisters I now use in our kitchen.

vintage picnic tin, DagmarBleasdale.comI already own three vintage picnic baskets, so there seems to be a collection forming, but this is my first tin box.

I’m using it as part of my fall mantel decor. Here is just a little peek because I don’t want to show you the whole mantel yet — I want to save that for my fall home tour.

I finally painted our porch white and oh, does our Blue Cottage look adorable now…

Did you show off your latest find last week? If you linked up, thank you!

There were so many wonderful entries again! I enjoyed checking out all of your posts. I had a really hard time to pick just one featured blog again.

I decided to feature Rose, who blogs at What Rose Knows. She upcycled this vintage toolbox – and she was able to buy a shelf for it during the same flea market trip! Meant to be.

Upcycled Vintage Toolbox

Thanks for linking up, Rose! I’m so glad I found your blog. Feel free to add this button to your post or blog if you like. I really hope you’ll link up again.

If you weren’t featured this week but would like to be, just link up the same post again, and any new ones.

Your turn! If you’ve picked up a thrifty or vintage find lately, I’d love to see it.

I’m thrilled about any link, but if you want to get featured, please only link up thrifty or vintage finds, and link back to this post. I also feature DIY posts if you transformed something that was originally a thrifty or vintage find.

And after you link up, it would be lovely if you would share this party — pin, stumble, tweet away! The bigger the party, the more exposure for all of us.

How to link up:

  • Link up posts about your thrifty or/and vintage find.
  • Please add the party button to your post {see code below} or a link back to this link party post so others can be inspired to join in the fun. Only posts with a link to this party will be considered to be featured.
  • No links to giveaways, or shop or Etsy sites please.
  • By submitting a link you are authorizing for your project to be featured. Featured links will include a photo and a link back to the originating site.

I’m looking forward to see your latest finds!

Dagmar, I wondered yesterday when I couldn’t get on your blog what was happening. Glad the move is over and you are happier. I love your tin picnic basket. I actually do not have one! Rose’s toolbox upcycle is gorgeous!

Have a great day!!

How wonderful – you’re getting all sorts of things accomplished – moving your blog, painting, shopping, decorating – life is good! Thanks for hosting us, Dagmar! One of my vintage finds this week was trip to life 100 years ago; the other is a care tip for vintage silverplate.
