Wordless Wednesday With Linky – LEGOs & Strawberry Fields

by Dagmar Bleasdale on July 7, 2015

Are you wondering why I haven’t published a new “Thrifty & Vintage Finds” link party post?

I’m in Germany with Landon, and our days are so filled with visits to friends and family that I lost track of the days. It’s midnight here, and we are flying back to New York tomorrow, after 10 days of fun.

Feel free to still add your post to the Thrifty & Vintage link party for a chance to get featured next Monday.

LEGOs & Strawberry Fields

My friend Ariane invited us for breakfast a couple of days ago.

042aHer two boys were in school, but L didn’t mind. He played with their LEGOs and their huge dog.

039aAfter breakfast, Ariane took us to the strawberry fields near her house. We’ve visited them before two years ago.

It’s a lot of fun to pick the strawberries yourself, and to eat as many as you want for free.

050aThe air around those fields smells like strawberries, and I must have eaten a pound of them while I picked some for our bowl.

If you want to see more of what we have been up to here in Germany, don’t miss my post about our Visit to My Friend’s Farm in Germany.

What have you been up to? I’m looking forward to your posts.

Hi Dagmar,
What a wonderful holiday you are having! And what a joy it is to pick strawberries–I have done that in the past and they taste so amazing. Thank you for sharing your healthy, happy experiences with us at the Healthy Happy Green and Natural Party Blog Hop. I’m pinning and sharing. I can’t wait to see what you are up to next!

I have a strawberry plant in my terrace and I cant wait for the flowers to turn into fruits!

Looks like a lovely trip! My dream to go in the field and let my son do some picking too as he doesnt eat a lot of fruits. Maybe this will help him be more adventurous in eating and trying new ones. But alas we dont have any field near us =(
