Dagmar's Home "Thrifty & Vintage Finds" Link Party

Welcome to “Thrifty & Vintage Finds” link party No. 71!

If you found an amazing deal lately, a vintage or thrifty find, then I’d love you to link up. You might get featured next week!

We are back from Germany and kind of back in the swing of things.

Kind of.

Landon started camp, has running camp twice a week, and we are dogsitting a sweet little dog for a week, so that adds four walks a day and other work for me.

Plus, I’m flying to Atlanta on Thursday for the Haven conference and have so much to do before that! Are you coming as well? Let me know!

And just when I was composing this post, I had some major issues that took three nail-biting hours to solve, so Wordless Wednesday might not even happen this week — I’m just glad I’m finally getting this post published.

Tell me that I will find the time to paint our dining room chairs one of these days. Just lie, would you?

Alas, here is my latest thrifty find. Actually, free find. And it found me.

Tina, the owner of Once Upon a Time, a local kids clothing resell store, called me and asked if I’d like to pick up vintage Raggedy Ann books she was going to donate otherwise.

She knows me well! How sweet of her to think of me. I can’t pass up vintage book, so I picked them up even though we really don’t have space for them.

Did you show off your latest find at my last party?

If you linked up, thank you! You all made my choice of who to feature so hard again.

I enjoyed all of your posts and decided to feature Jenny, who blogs at Refresh Living.

She found a vintage bundt cake pan for 50 cents, and repurposed it as plant pot! This project caught my attention because I have a similar bundt pan, and because it’s such a simple and pretty DIY idea.

Thanks for linking up, Jenny! I’m so glad you found my blog and hope you’ll link up again. Feel free to add this button to your post or blog if you like.

If you weren’t featured this week but would like to be, just link up the same post again, and any new ones.

Your turn! If you’ve picked up a thrifty or vintage find lately, I’d love to see it.

I’m thrilled about any link, but if you want to get featured, please only link up thrifty or vintage finds, and link back to this post. I also feature DIY posts if you transformed something that was originally a thrifty or vintage find.

And after you link up, it would be lovely if you would share this party — pin, stumble, tweet away! The bigger the party, the more exposure for us all.

I can’t wait to see your finds!

How to link up:

  • Link up posts about your thrifty or/and vintage find.
  • Please add the party button to your post {see code below} or a link back to this link party post so others can be inspired to join in the fun. Only posts with a link to this party will be considered to be featured.
  • No links to giveaways, or shop or Etsy sites please.
  • By submitting a link you are authorizing for your project to be featured. Featured links will include a photo and a link back to the originating site.

Have a great time at the Haven conference. I love the Raggegy Ann books. How nice that she gave them to you. I can’t pass up vintage children’s books.

Hi Diana! I still haven’t had time to write my post about the conference, can you believe it? You did a great job with your post – I’ll link to it. Thanks again for linking up!

Oh my goodness! Free’s the best kind of vintage finds! My neighbor had a garage sale last weekend and I was out walking with my husband (no money, and his no interest). I went back, only to find the things that interested me gone, but he (neighbor) started giving me all sorts of things so he wouldn’t have to load his car for donating! I took several, not all totally vintage, but repurposeful (let’s just say they’re in the same category as your DR chairs – someday category). Thanks for the party, and sorry for your troubles.
Have fun at Haven, and take lots of pictures!
