Modern Oats: Yummy Gluten-Free and Non-GMO Oatmeal

Modern Oats. gluten-free and non-GMO oatmeal.

I’ve written in the past about how passionate I am about eating non-GMO and organic food. I avoid food that has been genetically engineered because I think you ask for trouble when you mess with nature.

Plus, GMO food means food with pesticides, which I don’t want to feed my family. In more that 60 countries around the world, there are restrictions or outright bans on GMOs.

So I was thrilled when Modern Oats contacted me and told me about their oatmeal!

Modern Oats specialize in nutritious, on-the-go, convenient oatmeal that is non-GMO and gluten-free. They only use the best quality and healthiest ingredients.

I love the Modern Oats Pinterest tagline:

SUPERFOOD. SUPER FAST. Artisanally crafted, small farm oatmeal. Nourishment for nomads.

I absolutely wanted to try this oatmeal, and since Don eats gluten-free now to see if it helps with his constant congestion, I knew he’d be thrilled to try it as well.

Their whole grain rolled oats are grown in the fertile lands of Aspen parkland biome, between prairie and the boreal forest that covers the foothills of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Modern Oats offer six flavors in cups you just add hot water to:

  • Goji Blueberry
  • Chocolate Cherry
  • Nuts & Seeds
  • Mango Blackberry
  • 5 Berry
  • Apple Walnut

I’ve tried all of the flavors and they are all super yummy and ready in minutes. My favorite is the Nuts & Seeds oatmeal. I figured it would because I love anything with seeds and nuts. I’m truly a crunchy mama :)

Don’s favorite is the Chocolate Cherry oatmeal.

Place 1 egg, 2 tbsp. of gluten-free flour, and 2 tbsp. oil into one of the oatmeal cups. Stir it into a ball and divide it into 2 cookies. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 F.

Super easy, right? I can’t wait to make these cookies for Don.
