While the winter storm Juno didn’t hit us as much as expected, we got a ton more unexpected snow on Sunday.
After a hairy drive home during the snow storm from a Superbowl get-together at Don’s sister, and snow falling all night, L had another snow day on Monday, which the three of us spent at home.
I’ve taken L sledding at dusk…
…and he went “snowboarding” at Grandma’s house…
Snow means we are down to one car because it’s too dangerous to drive Don’s heavy truck in these conditions, but thankfully it usually works out that I can stay home all day.
And I make the best out of the extra snow days. Hot lentil soup in pretty cups…
Are you snowed in as well?
Don’s sister took in two adorable little puppies to foster for a week, and we were all over them when we went to their house for the Superbowl.
L has been begging for a dog for a while, but I’m so reluctant to get one for many reasons.
These two are eight weeks old and available for adoption through RecycledPaws in Mohegan Lake, NY.
Denali is a girl and Devin is a boy. They are both shepherd mixes and look like they will be a bit smaller than a pure German shepherd.
This is Denali. Isn’t she just adorable?
If you live in Westchester and want to add a little furry friend to your family, Denali and Devin are looking for their forever home! For more info, call Recycled Paws.
How was your week? I can’t wait to see your Wordless Wednesday posts.
