Dagmar's Home "Thrifty & Vintage Finds" Link Party

Welcome to the next “Thrifty & Vintage Finds” link party!

If you found an amazing deal lately, a vintage or thrifty find, then link up!

I’m sharing a thrifty find from the Somers thrift store and another one I scored yesterday at an estate sale.

But first, I hope you saw my Valentine’s Day tablescape and decor post I promised you after I showed you how I decorated our mantel for Valentine’s Day last week.

Now to my new thrifty and vintage finds: I bought this cool trophy for $3 at the thrift store last week.

vintage find: vintage trophy

I was going to add it to the collection of trophies I started in L’s room, but then it found a spot on our staircase table.

I finally got rid of all of our Christmas houses on it and styled it with mercury glass and white items, plus two plants from IKEA.

I followed it to find a charming old house full of small rooms and hundreds of books. I only bought one book, a milkglass planter, and this: a vintage Madeline tin cookie mold.

As you can see, I’m also displaying many of my vintage creamer collection on the bottom shelf right now.

It kind of doesn’t work for me. Should I removed them or keep them? I’d love your input! Too cluttered?

This week I’m featuring Jen from Call Me Creative. She made this awesome bench out of three thrift store chairs!

Thanks for linking up, Jen, you did a wonderful job! Feel free to add this button to your post or blog if you like.

Your turn! If you’ve picked up a thrifty or vintage find lately, I’d love to see it!

I’m thrilled about any link, but if you want to get featured, please only link up thrifty or vintage finds, and link back to this post. I also feature DIY posts if you transformed something that was originally a thrifty or vintage find.

And after you link up, it would be great if you share this party for more exposure. The bigger the party, the better.

How to link up:

  • Link up posts about your thrifty or/and vintage find.
  • Please add the party button to your post {see code below} or a link back to this link party post so others can be inspired to join in the fun. Only posts with a link to this party will be considered to be featured.
  • No links to giveaways, or shop or Etsy sites please.
  • By submitting a link you are authorizing for your project to be featured. Featured links will include a photo and a link back to the originating site.

Thank you so much for featuring my bench! When I originally spotted these three chairs in a junk store, they were sitting in a row with an old ironing board laying on top of them. I knew then it they would make a great bench – and solve the problem of needing extra seating in my kitchen!! Thank you so much for featuring them!

Loving your pretty little vintage valentines, but that trophy-wow! I am on the hunt for all things equestrian, so something like that would be gorgeous! We are so snowed in here right now, can’t even get out of the driveway, but I am patiently waiting for the spring thaw so the yards sales will be back!

I love the vintage creamer collection and that little spot under the table seems perfectly made for it, but I don’t think it meshes well with the other items. Surely you have some sweet spot where they will look better? :)
