Blizzard of 2015

If you have been affected by the Blizzard of 2015, I hope you are safe and warm.

It was expected to be a lot worse here in New York, everything closed down, and in the end we kept waiting for Juno and it wasn’t that bad.

But I’m not complaining. We’ve got enough snow for the kids to be happy, L and I built an awesome snowman, and I had time to organize the cottage a bit.

Our bathroom closet got a much-needed makeover, yay!

Valentine's Day itmes at Williams SonomaWe went to the newly-renovated diner in Katonah, now called KR Cafe, and I’ve been back twice already. They have my favorite: baked potato!

…and we could’ve taken our time because it came a whole day later.

No snow to worry about here in sunny (actually drizzly this week) Southern California, but I have been using the rainy days to clean our spare room where we keep our “earthquake/emergency kit”. ( I lived north of Lake Tahoe for years, I DO.NOT. miss the snow. At all.)
And I have to say, those custom note cards are adorable!

Thanks for coming by and for the compliment, Tina! I’ve been to Lake Tahoe once and it is so beautiful there. Loved it.

Been test driving the BMW i3 electric and VW eGolf. Before that a 2015 Ford Mustang. Not happy to be double booked on a storm week. Lol

I fully intended to organize and clean stuff, but then I made a ton of seafood bisque and started watching movies instead! :-)

That’s what often happens these days when a hurricane comes into the Gulf. We prepare and prepare and it turns out to be a little puff of wind and some rain.

You had a busy lovely week! I am going to try the pudding. I usually throw or feed bread to seagulls. I need to learn this one =)
