Wordless Wednesday With Linky: Kangaroos in Australia

by Dagmar Bleasdale on December 30, 2014

Don and Landon made it to Australia and are spending the next two weeks with family near Sydney.

Lucky ducks.

And my little man already met his first kangaroos!

They called me today and L reported happily about seeing a whole bunch of kangaroos in the morning during a bike ride. Aunt Nina emailed me the proof.

And they spent time on a boat, swimming in a lake, and being pulled on one of those inflatable donuts.

“Daddy had to hang on for his dear life!” he said. So cute.

It’s wonderful to hear that they’re having such an amazing time.

I miss them terribly and am counting the days, no the hours, until they get back.

Having dinner alone is — lonely. And the wrong thing gets eaten. Ugh.

My excuse? Those cookies remind me of my Papa. Now, the size of this thing I have no excuse for.

I’m going to spent New Year’s Eve in sweatpants on the sofa — it’s probably going to involve Pride and Prejudice again — but if you are entertaining guests and want to impress them, here are six super-easy New Year’s Eve ideas.

Your turn for your Wordless {or Wordfull) Wednesday post! And Happy New Year to you!
