Dagmar's Home "Thrifty & Vintage Finds" Link Party

Welcome to the next “Thrifty & Vintage Finds” link party!

I can’t believe it’s already party No. 45.

If you found an amazing deal lately, new or vintage, then play along and link up!

This week I’m featuring the thrifty find by Kelly (This Colonial Old Home). She found the most adorable, chippy nightstand for $5 at a garage sale.

We actually just change our queen bed to a king bed, and I’m looking for new (vintage) nightstands. I would have totally bought this cute yellow nightstand as well!

Thanks for linking up again, Kelly, I appreciate it — and am so envious :) I hope you’ll link up again.

Please make sure you link back to this post if you want to be featured. I want more people to find and share this link party, and it wouldn’t be fair to feature you if someone who didn’t link back.

My latest thrifty and vintage finds are from the That Nothing Be Lost Thrift & Antiques Store in Garrison, NY. It’s part of the St. Christopher’s Inn.

We always drive by the sign on our way to Cold Spring, but we’ve never stopped.

A few days ago I was driving to Cold Spring with my mother and brother, who were visiting from Germany, and since they are both thrifting and antiques lovers, they were happy to check it out with me.

vintage treasures, thrift storeI didn’t expect the store to be three stories full of goodies! These are the ones that came home with me:

vintage treasuresThose fake apples look so real, and for 50 cents each they now sit in a bowl on our dining table.

The little table cloth,  two cups from England, and fall-themed plate from Germany are already available in my booth at the Newburgh Vintage Emporium, waiting for new owners. I also dropped oof the blue jar and the vintage ornaments.

The odd pig head is not vintage, but it would be easy to add it to a little furniture piece, so I have plans for it eventually. And all those stamps will come in handy as well.

Happy Thanksgiving stampI didn’t even get to look at the second floor of the thrift store, and I can’t wait to go back there.

Your turn!

If you’ve picked up a thrifty or vintage find lately, I’d love to see it!

And after you link up, it would be great if you share this party for more exposure. The bigger the party, the better.

How to link up:

  • Link up posts about your thrifty or/and vintage find.
  • Please add the party button to your post {see code below} or a link back to this link party post so others can be inspired to join in the fun. Only posts with a link to this party will be considered to be featured.
  • No links to giveaways, or shop or Etsy sites please.
  • By submitting a link you are authorizing for your project to be featured. Featured links will include a photo and a link back to the originating site.

Before you link up, check out this fun guide I created for eBay!

Yes, they were quite the find! All in my store now for someone to create a pretty Christmas tree.

I collect those fruit plates and have about 12 of them! I will have to stop in there sometime.

I love that one and will use it myself if it doesn’t sell :)

Thank you so much for featuring me! I was over the moon about this find! Now I just have to find something for the other side of the bed :-P
