Wordless Wednesday With Linky: Trouble and a Trip

by Dagmar Bleasdale on September 30, 2014

I took this picture a couple of hours ago in our local music store. I can already see a glimpse of a teenager in my little boy. Think I’m in trouble?

We were getting L’s violin fixed for his second lesson. His school offers string instrument classes, and he’s really excited to be learning how to play the violin.

I found time to post one of my favorite kind of posts the other day, a Pinterest-inspired post about cottage decor. I hope you enjoy those pictures as much as I do.

Also, have you ever wanted to find out if you could install solar panels on your roof to pay less for electricity? If you go solar with Sunrun before Nov. 30, you’ll get a $500 VISA® Prepaid Card. Lower bills and $500? Sweet!

My very long post about our trip to Vermont is posted — I just couldn’t stop myself and had to post my favorite pictures, and there were a lot.

I haven’t posted my next Thrifty & Vintage Finds post yet — but I have a good reason. I’m getting ready for a trip and worked late and didn’t have the energy to write it at 4 in the morning. So you have until next Monday to link up your cool finds.

Guess where I will be heading on Friday? Benjamin Moore invited me and a guest to come to Williamsburg, VA, to get a “behind the scenes” tour of the heritage, history, and colors that inspired the 144 hues of Benjamin Moore’s Williamsburg Color Collection.

And I’m taking my friend Lynn with me, who I also roomed with at Haven! I’m a very lucky girl.

We will be in Williamsburg the whole weekend and I am so excited. I visited once before and it is so beautiful. I love all the history and stunning homes. I’ll take a ton of pictures so you can follow along on Instagram.

What are you up to? Your turn! More Wordless Wednesday linky hosts: Better in Bulk and Verena’s Schoene Welt.

I have wanted to learn the violin when I was in my primary school but it was quite costly.

We are lucky that they offer it at his school.

Violin is such a beautiful instrument to learn! Hopefully we have something like this in my son’s school too =) #ww

My mom played when she was little. She is coming to visit on November – I wonder if she still remembers how to play it.

If Lynn wouldn’t have been able to come, I would have asked you next! Wish I could take you both :( I hope to find time to paint with you soon.
