Wordless Wednesday With Linky: Dish Towel Curtains

by Dagmar Bleasdale on September 16, 2014

dish towel curtains for the Blue Cottage,DIYI took this picture a few day ago with Instagram of one corner of our living room. I like the light streaming into the room. Plus, it shows off my nifty DIY dish towel curtains I added to all the windows in the living room.

I wanted inexpensive window treatment that would let plenty of light into the house and give us privacy. We don’t get a lot of light because there are so many trees around the cottage.

The answer: no-sew DIY dish towel curtains that only cost a few dollars.

After showing you our farmhouse kitchen, it was time to continue with the Blue Cottage house tour: I added a post about L’s turquoise room. It’s such a fun and cheerful room.

turquise roomWhat else? I bought a few fun things at the Katonah Thrift Store yesterday. My favorite thrifty find: German oblaten sheets for only $1.

Scored an amazing deal lately? You are actually also welcome to link up old posts: “Thrifty & Vintage Finds” Link Party #39.

That dishcloth idea is a real good one that I would like to try.

The curtains are cute! I might have to try something like that for the side windows of our front door. L’s room is AMAZING! I love that paint color! The red chair and yellow shelving really pop next to it!
