Wordless Wednesday With Linky: Back to School

by Dagmar Bleasdale on September 2, 2014

Welcome to Wordless Wednesday!

Are your kids back to school? L started third grade today, and I love this picture of him before he climbed on the bus this morning.

We really crammed as much fun into the last week of summer as possible.

We went to Cape May for four days, I took L to New York City (train ride to Grand Central Station, Build a Bear, LEGO store, lunch at Saks Fifth Avenue, Central Park amusement park, ice cream…), and Don took him to Quasy, a fun amusement/water park all day yesterday.

L won’t know what to write about first, we did so many things this summer.

He’s going to a different school as a third grader, so not only was the teacher new, it’s a new classroom, new principal, new playground.

But he jumped off the bus hours later with a big smile and said it was “great.”

Couldn’t have asked for a better start. How was your kids’ first day?

I posted my new “Thrifty & Vintage Finds” link party and am showing off the cool treasures I found antiquing in Cape May. I hope you’ll enjoy that post and link up your find!

Labor Day is over but these 7 recipes I put together in a post will come in handy for many occasions:

I am glad he had a good first day of school. Sometimes starting at new schools can be hard, I know. Love the photos!

That’s right! Too bad we don’t realize that until later :)

Wishing I could just bottle these years up! We can’t, so instead, our kiddos will just have to accept the constant sound of a camera shutter in their lives! They will thank us for all of the photos one day, right, Dagmar!!!

My son will start school this Friday. Year 1 and I am very very excited and nervous as I am clueless with the education system here. But hopefully I will learn it. #ww

He should be glad he doesn’t live in the south. We’ve been in school since August 4.
