Hi there, everybody — sending you all sunny greetings from beautiful Cape May!
We had to wait for the last week of summer, but we are finally enjoying a 3-day vacation in Cape May, NY.
I’m trying to get some work done here, but I didn’t have time to post my next “Thrifty & Vintage Finds” link party (hint – link up so I can feature you next week!).
Instead, I wanted to share with you how it felt to see Lady Liberty up close for the first time. As an expat, it was pretty emotional for me.
I was able to shoot some amazing pictures from the ferry, so don’t miss that post: Seeing the Statue of Liberty — Only Took 21 Years.
Grandma rented a house in Cape May like last year and our days are filled with hanging out with family, going to the beach, lots of snacking, a little bit of shopping, and yesterday I got to go thrifting.
So I’m all set for next Monday’s thrifting post — I can’t wait to show you what I scored at my new favorite store, the West End Garage.
Cape May is known for its quaint houses, and I like taking walks here just to look around.
I get a ton of great DIY ideas in stores like this.
Now, I’d never seen stackable stools like these, and they would look awesome in L’s room. You could store things on them and use them separately when needed for seating or as side tables. I can’t find these online and am tempted to buy them, I tell ya.
