Celebrate Your Extraordinary Kid With a Video

by Dagmar Bleasdale on June 25, 2014

What makes your kid extraordinary?

My little man is an extraordinary kid because he’ll hardly ever complain when I drag him to thrift stores, or to run errands, or when he has to wait for me to finish a blog post.

Case in point: I captured this picture of him smiling while we were checking out a few tag sales on Sunday. I scored that bowl for $1, and he got new binoculars for $1.

He is patient and easy-going, and just such a sweet soul. I don’t know what I did right to have such a wonderful little boy.

I do believe our bond is so strong because we never left each other’s side in the first years. I was at home with him, nursed him on demand, and we shared a bed at night, so were were always near each other.

L is the best little helper I know. His teachers often tell us how sweet and well-behaved he is, which makes me very proud.

I created a sweet little video on Stanford Children’s Health microsite that captures how I feel about L, take a look.

Stanford Children’s Health and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford has been the top-ranked children’s hospital in Northern California for over a decade.

It’s really neat to be able to create this short video in just minutes for your child. Want to make your own? You can!

Your kid is extraordinary. Show them how much you enjoy every moment together by creating a special video of your own.

What makes your kid extraordinary isn’t just the epic stuff — it’s the small moments maybe only you see. Share your love, hope, and pride for your extraordinary child in a video. What makes them one-of-a-kind?

If you live in the Bay Area, you might want to know that Stanford Children’s Health is the largest Bay Area healthcare provider with an exclusive focus on children and expectant women and committed to providing extraordinary care.

Stanford Children’s Health doctors can be reached within 10 miles of most homes in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Have fun creating a video for your extraordinary kid — it’s a wonderful gift for them they will treasure in the future.
