Wordless Wednesday With Linky: Mystic Seaport

by Dagmar Bleasdale on April 29, 2014

vintage bicycle at Mystic Seaport Museum, CTThis is one of the many pictures I took this weekend on our trip to Mystic, CT. Have you ever seen the movie Mystic Pizza with Julia Roberts? We saw the pizzeria.

Mystic is a wonderful little town and has so much to offer. On Saturday we went to the Mystic Aquarium and saw the Titanic exhibit, and on Sunday we spent hours at the Mystic Seaport Museum.

If you follow me on Instagram, you saw how amazingly beautiful it was — I couldn’t get enough of taking pictures of the clouds.

Mystic Seaport Museum, Connecticut.I’m saving the other pictures for a post about the museum.

Time for the next “Thrifty & Vintage Finds” link party — check out my latest find, a very odd coincidence after our trip to Mystic.

Even more odd: I bought a framed picture today at a sale and turned it over and it came from the Mystic Seaport store. Spooky.

If you missed it, I also blogged about Porch Decorating Ideas for the Blue Cottage you might enjoy.

What have you been up to? I’m looking forward to your posts.

I *love* the movie Mystic Pizza & would love to visit Mystic someday! Heck, I’d love to visit the entire New England area someday!

I was there many years ago. They had the really cool little shops there.

Love seaside towns. I never made it to Mystic when I was living in New Englad, but your pictures are beautiful!

I’ve got a bike like that! Can’t ride it though.

Awesome seaport! The boat reminds me of Toon Town at Disneyland. ;) Happy WW!
