Dagmar's Home "Thrifty & Vintage Finds" Link Party

It’s Monday, time for the “Thrifty & Vintage Finds” link party!

If you found an amazing deal lately, new or vintage, then play along and link up!

Here is my favorite pick from the last party: Jen from Driftwood Gardens scored a huge round table for nothing and transformed it into this beauty.

I’m a bit envious that Jen does these makeovers with the help of her husband — I’d love it if Don were into helping me with my furniture, then I could tackle larger pieces.

Thanks for linking up, Jen! Feel free to add this button to your blog if you like, and I hope you’ll link up again.

Here is one of my latest thrifty finds I’m in love with that I already mentioned in this post:

vintage Ethan Allen table and cane chair

I bought this vintage Ethan Allen table for $35 and cane chair for $30 at a ReStore when I went thrifting with a girlfriend two week ago.

We bought all kinds of wonderful things. Good thing she has a pickup truck — we filled it!

I also brought home all of these smaller treasures. See that silver jug? That’s how discolored it was, but with a little bit of silver cleaner it now looks amazing on the little table.

vintage Ethan Allen table and cane chairI bought it last year and it had been waiting in my “linen closet” for a special spot.

Cindy, who is also a vendor at the Newburgh Vintage Emporium, bought two of the same tables to paint them and I can’t wait to see how they will turn out.

Thank you so much Dagmar – I’m so flattered! I couldn’t do a project this big without Hubby’s help. Your link up is inspiring me to do some furniture projects again. It’s been a while.

Thanks for the fun party! I’m sharing a couple of upcycled projects from my daughters bedroom makeover.

Happy weekend!

Thanks for the mention! It was so much fun thrifting together and sharing ideas. I can’t believe how that pitcher cleaned up. Gorgeous.
