OxiClean Revives Dingy Whites Without Harsh Chlorine

OxiClean White Revive Laundry Stain Remover{I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for OxiClean. I received three product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.}

Well, if we can’t get spring to finally show up, we can at least start with spring cleaning!

I’m not much of a clean freak and usually buy the least-expensive, green detergent or use soap nuts, but I have to say that our white clothes don’t really stay white for long.

I don’t like using chlorine bleach — I’m scared to get splashed with it, and I’m too afraid it would ruin our floors if it spilled. Plus the fumes are toxic and bleach is so bad for the environment, so I don’t buy it.

When I put OxiClean‘s Laundry Detergent and White Revive Laundry Stain Remover powder to the test, I definitely could see a difference in how much whiter our clothes came out, and they also tackled the stubborn grease stains on L’s shirts from eating pizza. I find those hard to get out.

The White Revive Laundry Stain Remover works with your detergent to revive dingy whites without the damaging effects of chlorine, harsh fumes, yellowing, or color damage.

The Fresh Scent I had to get used to — I’m used to unscented detergents. And I wish the detergent was clear; there is really no need for the blue color.

OxiClean 4X Extreme Power Crystals

I also tried out the new OxiClean 4X Extreme Power Crystals in our new dishwasher. It’s the first dishwasher I’ve had in a long time, and I still wash our dishes by hand a lot, but it certainly comes in handy when our large farmhouse sink overflows with dishes.

The crystals dissolved the cloudy film that had built up on some of our glasses and lifted away stains.

I bought a whole carload of vintage dishes and glassware the other day for my store, and it was nice to have the dishwasher do all the work and get them literally squeaky clean and ready. I just dropped them off today.

I’m going to be super busy with my store on top of blogging and everything else, so I know I’ll be using our dishwasher more often from now on. I tested the Fresh Clean scent, but it’s also available in Lemon Clean scents, and in paks for a quick, mess-free clean.

Check out OxiClean’s Facebook page for more ideas of how to use OxiClean products.

Do you have any major cleaning projects you hope to start this spring?
