My Booth at the Newburgh Vintage Emporium

Dagmar's Home Decor at Newburgh Vintage EmporiumThe Newburgh Vintage Emporium offers 50 booths full of vintage treasures and chalkpaint furniture — and this is my Dagmar’s Home Decor booth.

Dagmar's Home Decor at Newburgh Vintage EmporiumI finally took a few good pictures of the booth yesterday when I was dropping off some more vintage finds. Landon came with me because he was off of school. Doesn’t he look like a proud store owner?

Dagmar's Home Decor at Newburgh Vintage EmporiumI usually have to rush to drive there, only have time to put the new merchandise in the booth, and have to run. Yesterday wasn’t any different: I didn’t have time to check out all the other vendors again.

Dagmar's Home Decor at Newburgh Vintage EmporiumThe booth is still not set up the way I’d want it to look, but right now the focus is on getting my items there. It will always be in flux anyway and there will be empty spots because things sell — which is obviously a good thing.

Dagmar's Home Decor at Newburgh Vintage EmporiumI price my items fairly — they start at $3, with most of my items being between $5 and $15.

I find most of these items for not much money because I know where to go, and I always try to pass on those affordable prices to my customers.

Dagmar's Home Decor at Newburgh Vintage EmporiumLooking at these pictures, I’m going to stop using those large tags: I can add my Dagmar’s Home Decor stamp to them, but they really don’t look pretty. Lesson learned.

Dagmar's Home Decor at Newburgh Vintage EmporiumI also want to maximize the wall space better, and I have an idea for the top part of the wall I’ll never use because customers can’t reach that high. I’m thinking burlap to get away from all that white.

Dagmar's Home Decor at Newburgh Vintage EmporiumThis is a one-of-a-kind trunk I bought at an estate sale. It has been sitting in L’s room but really doesn’t work in there, so I decided to sell it and added it to my booth yesterday.
