Wordless Wednesday Linky: LEGO Collection

by Dagmar Bleasdale on February 4, 2014

boy showing off his LEGO collection On Wednesday we went to the library so that L could read to Romeo, the sweet library dog, as he does every Wednesday.

This week was special, though, because L is getting to show off part of his LEGO collection in the display case in the children’s room for a month.

We picked out many LEGO sets that happened to still be assembled and brought them to the library to put them into the case.

007-020We stayed until the library closed and were rewarded with this beautiful view of the little old church next to the library.

old little church in the snow, at sunsetNote the snow. I’m really tired of all the snow by now, how about you?

Monday was a snow day and tomorrow will be another. L was sick today and Friday will be a half day. That makes 1 1/2 days of school for L this week.

I can’t wait for spring.

If you missed them, check out these other posts I published in the last week:

The pic of the church is so calm!

Hi Naomi, right? Calm is the right word. Thanks for coming by and leaving a comment and linking up!

What is your secret? You actually had lego models STILL ASSEMBLED to bring to the library? Impressive! I seem to only have several billion loose pieces, that were once assembled, but only for a few fleeting moments.

Your library sounds great. Thanks for sharing!

Hi AJ, we had a couple of weeks to keep and set aside some models that were put together, but L’s whole room has LEGOs on the floor :) Thanks for the comment – I just discovered your blog!

I can’t believe your library has a dog! I know some kids that would love that (and others that would avoid the library because of it!). I think it’s a great idea!

L is a reluctant reader, and dogs don’t judge :) Wonderful program – I love our library. Thanks for linking up, Lolli!

Oh my boys would be so proud to have their treasures on display. I agree winter needs to be done already. I miss playing outside.
