Wordless Wednesday Linky: Merry Christmas!

by Dagmar Bleasdale on December 24, 2013

Christmas tree Wishing you a wondrous, merry Christmas if you celebrate it!

I decorated the Blue Cottage and posted my Christmas House Tour yesterday — I hope you enjoy it.

I sent off the last few cards today, bought a couple of last things, and now I’m going to wrap all the gift while Don and L are having dinner at Grandma’s. Perfect timing.

The first thing L said this morning is that we need to clear everything out of the fireplace so Santa can come in, and put out cookies for him. I just love that he still believes in Santa.

elf on the shelf ideaAnd I’ll miss Fred’s shenanigans — I guess he goes home with Santa until next Christmas? I’m still new to this elf on the shelf tradition. I wouldn’t mind to keep thinking of things to do with him every night, and I’m almost tempted to keep doing it because L might not be into him anymore next year.

Do you have an elf on the shelf? Do your kids believe in Santa? How do you explain the Santas in every mall, and how does he eat all those cookies? :)

Beautiful tree. I’m sure the elf will find more trouble to get into. Maybe he can pop up as a one day reminder to be good in the fall.
