Create Special Holiday MOMents With Sprout

Sprout MOMent

Thanksgiving is over, and now the race starts to get ready for Christmas. The holiday season is crazy for everybody but especially crazy for us moms.

I took a look at Landon’s school calendar and it’s filled with free days and half days for teacher conferences in December.

He’ll be home a lot before Christmas, which means I have to juggle work, household chores, organizing the Blue Cottage, and getting ready for the holidays with him here.

I love spending time with my little man and am looking forward to unpacking the ornaments and decorating our Christmas tree, and baking muffins with him.

When I work, he’s pretty good about playing by himself, but lately the iPad has become his best friend. He could play Mindcraft or Hayday for hours.

I’d rather have him watch a kids show on TV he can learn something from, about friendship or being kind or creative. And when I have the time or need a break I snuggle up with him and watch a show or two with him.

Aside from cuddling up to help him fall asleep every night, it’s our special time we’ve enjoyed since he was little.

Sprout calls these experiences “Holiday MOMents.” You can created and show off your own here — capture the special, funny, or sweet MOMents you want to remember.

Sprout is a TV channel with so many great kids shows. Angelina Ballerina and Caillou are still our favorites.

Another thing Sprout does well: they offer fun games, stories, and creative activities online. Have you seen those yet? I discovered Stella and Sam for L, and he likes their stories and games. The illustrations are so cute.

What kind of holiday MOMents do you want your kids to remember?
